Q: Is having a carbon monoxide test performed on my furnace really important?

A: Yes. This simple test has two important benefits – one is safety and the other is that it provides important diagnostic information about the condition of your furnace.

I recommend having a carbon monoxide test performed every fall. High levels of carbon monoxide at start up indicate service related issues. If levels are over 100 parts per million (P.P.M.) this would be a indication of more serious issues that need to be resolved.

Levels even higher signal other serious issues with the furnace. Let us give your furnace a carbon monoxide check-up – enjoy peace of mind and increased furnace efficiency.
